About Me

“To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child. For what is the worth of human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?”   -Cicero

I love history. My parents took me to Gettysburg, Washington, D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, and other historical sites on family vacations from the time I was just a small child. Some might view these as torturous, but I loved every minute of it. I think we need to learn and understand our history to fully understand today's world. Without knowing what our ancestors experienced and learned, we might never move forward and grow intellectually and culturally.
